Markham Artisan Market is an homage to the magic of creativity and the brilliance of craftsmanship. Now, we're calling on all the artists, artisans, designers, craftsmen and vendors who have unique talents to offer and let their creative spirits shine!

If you’re an artisian producing unique, handmade items, we invite you to be part of this creative event. This is an excellent platform to showcase your talents and products to a diverse audience at an affordable rate. The participation fee is only $99/day. If you wish to apply as an outdoor vendor, please bring your own tent or outdoor umbrella.

Additionally, if you require a folding table, it can be rented for a minimal fee of $10.


What time does the event start and end?

The event runs from 12 pm to 8 pm on July 22nd and 23rd. Vendors start to set up in the morning. Indoor vendors can leave their belongings overnight if needed.

Is there a fee for visitors to attend the market?

We only charge a minimum fee to cover the cost. Entry for visitors/customers is absolutely free.

how many people are expected to attend this event?

Although we cannot give you exact data on traffic volume since it's our first time creating this kind of event, we're putting thousands into social media ads, and our spot on the main street should pull in plenty of passersby. Plus, we aim to draw in folks from the Markham community and families.

How can I become a vendor at the event?

Interested vendors can register here. The submission deadline is July 12, 2023, with the result notice scheduled for July 14. Only selected artisans will be contacted.

What is the size of my booth?

Indoor booth is 72 inch x 30 inch / 180 cm x 75 cm

Outdoor booth is 10 feet x 10 feet / 3 m x 3 m

What happens if there are more applicants than available slots

Due to the high-volume submission and constrained space, we only have a limited number of slots available. The waitlisted vendors are the first ones considered for upcoming market events.

What types of products do you accept for the market?

The market will feature a wide range of locally handmade items, from jewellry, art print, textiles, clothing, ceramic, candles, wood and leather goods, to body and skin care items, and much more.

Is any charity involved?

As part of our commitment to integrating public welfare into our event, we have chosen to support the SickKids Foundation. A portion of the revenue will be donated to SickKids to support their Creative Arts Therapy.
