In the Qing Dynasty, the Italian painter Giuseppe Castiglione was so captivated by Chinese art that he travelled across continents to China, dedicating his life to learning and creating in this rich cultural landscape. As the wheels of time turned, Chinese artistic expressions found a global stage, enchanting people worldwide with its millennia-old heritage.

Today, artists of Chinese heritage, whether they reside or were born overseas, are weaving their narratives of their culture into art practices, showcasing their heritage through a spectrum of expressions from serene to vibrant to fantastical, echoing the whispers of them as wanderers in a symphony of colours, shapes, and dreams.

This art festival aims to immerse you in the diverse interpretations of themes related to Chinese culture. Spanning two days, the festival is a celebration of multicultural artistry, featuring not only traditional media like ink painting, Chinese calligraphy, opera and music but also contemporary interpretations such as sculpture, installation, immersive dramas and modern dance.

The festival also includes interactive workshops where artists will share the inspirations behind their creations, offering attendees a deeper understanding of their art. Workshops will provide hands-on opportunities to engage in the artistic process across different mediums, ensuring a comprehensive cultural experience.

越来越多有着中国血统，要么是旅居在外，或是出生在外等等的艺术家，在海外，用自己的艺术形式表达着自己的中式情节。
